ARTES offers a range of innovative services solutions to enhance the study, state of preservation, evaluation and authentication of works of art, archaeological objects and monuments. ARTES builds on the interdisciplinary expertise of The Andreas Pittas Art Characterization Laboratories (APAC Labs) of The Cyprus Institute (CyI). Our innovative service, hosted at CyI in Nicosia, integrates input from Art and Humanities experts, R&D engineers and IT technical specialists. Featuring full-mobile capacity, we operate state-of-the-art digital technologies and analytical instrumentation.

Our pipeline is based on a broad multi-scale diagnostics approach, integrating physico-chemical analytical methods, multi-spectral imaging and surface 2D / 3D geometric characterization.
